1 in 26 individuals will develop epilepsy at some point in their lifetime. It can happen at any age. And when it does happen, thankfully there are organizations like Epilepsy-Pralid, Inc. (EPI) in Rochester to help.

Camp EAGR is one of the unique programs EPI offers. It is New York's only week-long overnight camp for kids and teens with epilepsy. For many of the campers, it is the week they look forward to most in the year.  It's often one of the only places where it's not "weird" to experience a seizure. The opportunity to have fun in a safe environment, make new connections, and build lifelong friendships is so important for youth with epilepsy. It is exactly what keeps these campers coming back year after year, often volunteering as counselors once they get older.

A donation of any amount will help immensely! And will go toward funding epilepsy programs and services such as Camp EAGR - the only week-long overnight camp in New York State for kids with epilepsy, support groups, education, youth conferences, and more.
