Tyler is a sweet 11 year old that has been affected by epilepsy since he was 5. He has a very rare form of epilepsy called ESES. He has had laser brain surgery, a VNS surgery, and has been on countless medicines. He has been through a lot but is always still smiling. He truly has a heart of gold, despite the circumstances. He currently is doing better than he ever has, and we are so grateful for that! We walk every year to raise awareness, educate and of course raise money for the local chapter of Epilepsy Pralid. All of the funds stay right here in central new york to help those affected by epilepsy. It truly is a life-changing disorder and there is not enough awareness or research on it yet.

Salt City Walk has been raising funds and awareness for epilepsy in Central New York for the past 7 years. Supporters like you have raised more than $105,000 to support local people who are living with epilepsy. Your participation means better awareness, increased education, and more programs and services to remove barriers people so people with epilepsy can live the lives of their choosing.

Epilepsy-Pralid, Inc. (EPI) is a non-profit organization that serves children and adults of all ages with developmental or acquired conditions of the brain throughout the western and central regions of New York State.
