EPI Giving Tuesday Now Banner - woman wearing courage mask

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed our world. In this time of crisis, we need your help.

Some of our services have been mandated to be closed, creating a significant reduction in revenue.  But EPI is committed to keeping our staff employed for as long as possible.  Instead of opting to lay-off staff in closed programs, we have come up with creative solutions to provide our employees with stability. We have moved some programs online, reallocated work across departments and redeployed staff.

Our first priority is the safety of the people we support and of our staff. We have secured personal protective equipment and cleaning supplies.  We have utilized community resources when possible – getting donations of cloth masks and purchasing sanitizer at cost – but even this has not been enough. We have still spent thousands of dollars upgrading our technology to enable our office and administrative support staff to work from home, and we have purchased additional personal protective equipment, cleaning and other supplies for our facilities.

We need your help to cover these unexpected, emergency expenses. This Giving Tuesday, if you are able, please consider a monetary gift. A gift of $10 can provide cloth masks for two staff, $25 purchases enough hand sanitizer to last for 2 weeks at one of our group homes, and a gift of $100 helps us to continue to keep our redeployed staff working for another week.

And, in this time of separation, please connect with us on social media and share the positive stories of the kindness and dedication of our staff.
